Why St. Philomena Should Be Co-Patroness of the USA Under the Immaculate Conception

Reason 1:  Our Flag.

Reason 3:  She is the Patroness of Chastity and chastity is probably the virtue most under attack in our country right now.

Reason 4:  She is the Patroness of Youth. We live in a youth-centered culture and the future depends on who wins the hearts of the next generation, good or evil. See also “Our Lady of America” by Sister Mildred Mary Neuzil p. 24-25.

As the saints teach us so vividly, prayer becomes hope in action. Christ was their constant companion, with whom they conversed at every step of their journey for others. St. Philomena is a role model for the youth of today!
